Foundry VTT safety and table-signaling module
Raise My Hand Plus
A Foundry VTT module for table-safe hand raises, X-card signals, and configurable player notifications.
Raise My Hand Plus gives players a simple way to signal the GM or the whole table without interrupting the current scene. It supports a normal raise-hand action and an optional X-card popout for safety signaling.
Features
- Configurable hand and X-card actions.
- Optional player-list icon.
- Customizable notification sound.
- Configurable popout displayed on other players’ canvases.
- Small top-of-screen UI notification.
- Optional chat message.
- Per-notification control over whether the signal goes to GMs only or to all players.
- Toggle and one-shot notification modes.
- Timeout controls to prevent spam.
- Foundry VTT keybinding support.
The X-card behavior is inspired by John Stavropoulos’s X-Card, with similar customization options to the hand signal.
Settings
The module exposes settings for the main hand action, X-card behavior, sound, popout behavior, chat output, notification routing, timeout behavior, and keybindings. The goal is to let each table decide whether the signal should be quiet, visible, private to the GM, or broadcast to the whole group.
